The LMU University Hospital
with its two Munich locations, Campus Großhadern and Campus Innenstadt, is one of the largest university hospitals in Germany and Europe. Every year, around 500,000 patients place their trust in the expertise, care and commitment of our staff in 28 specialist clinics, sixteen institutes and five departments as well as the 63 interdisciplinary centers.
Outstanding facilities of the LMU University Hospital Munich are the Oncology Center of Excellence CCC Munich, Bavaria's largest transplant center TxM, the German Dizziness and Balance Center, the Tropical Institute and the Center for International Health (CIH). In addition, LMU University Hospital is involved in all German Centers for Health Research and in the DIFUTURE consortium as part of the Medical Informatics Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, as well as playing a key role in the Network of University Medicine (NUM) on COVID-19.
