The "Data Management and Data Analysis" research group supports the scientific activities within the Tropical Institute in the planning, implementation, evaluation and publication of clinical studies.
Case number calculations, questionnaire design and programming of databases for data collection are central tasks for the application and preparation of studies. During the implementation of the actual studies, the research group is primarily responsible for the quality management of the collected data, database queries and corrections. Once data collection is complete, the research group's tasks include planning and carrying out the statistical analysis as well as contributing to the publication of the study results.
