Award for Hannah Schillok as LMU Medical Scientist of the Year
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the LMU Faculty of Medicine hosted a festive annual reception in the Irenensaal in Baierbrunn - a celebratory highlight of the academic year at which outstanding achievements in research and teaching are honored. Professor Dr. Thomas Gudermann, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, began by welcoming around 140 guests with an impressive presentation on the successes of the past year. The variety and number of awards that were subsequently presented at the annual reception also exemplify the outstanding young talent and great innovative strength of LMU Medicine.
We are particularly pleased that our colleague Hannah Schillok, a graduate of the DFG Research Training Group POKAL, was honored with the LMU Medical Scientist of the Year award. The faculty honored her outstanding publication "Effective Components of Collaborative Care for Depression in Primary Care: An Individual Participant Data Meta-Analysis"(JAMA Psychiatry, 2025).
We congratulate Hannah Schillok on this special recognition and look forward to many more joint projects and research projects.
