Mentoring in continuing education: "A great opportunity"
The training period can be a challenge for young doctors at first: What is the difference between the new and old training regulations? Which departments should I go to, how do I organize the change between departments? The Bavarian Competence Centre for Advanced Training (KWAB) has developed the mentoring program to help doctors in advanced training (ÄiW) with their problems.
Joachim Lentzkow, a specialist in general medicine from Goldbach, and Martin Seidenschwang, a training assistant in Munich, found each other here. In this interview, the two explain how they have benefited from the mentoring program, why teaching is so important and that general practice has nothing to hide from other specialist areas.
