POKAL retreat at Frauenchiemsee: Impulses for the diagnosis and treatment of depression
From October 20-22, 15 POKAL fellows and 10 Principal Investigators (PIs) met at the Frauenwörth Monastery on Frauenchiemsee .The aim of the second graduate retreat of the second cohort: to further advance the care of people with depression in general practice through better diagnostics and effective treatment concepts.
Scientific impulses came from Prof. Annika Viniol (Philipps-UniversitätMarburg) and Prof. Marjo Wijnen-Meijer (Dresden University of Technology). Thefocus was on complex interventions in the GP practice and efficientworking methods. In intensive work phases, current and new projects were concretizedconcretized - including the DOOR study.
The retreat was characterized by lively exchange, clear next steps and a lot of team spirit.a lot of team spirit. We are entering the next phase with fresh ideas - thanks toeveryone involved!
