Following the success of the 1st Toxic Metals Symposium in July 2025, we warmly invite you back to Munich to continue the conversation on human exposure to toxic metals, environmental and human biomonitoring, risk assessment, and risk mitigation — with a special focus on the global health impacts of mining, e-waste, and the minerals driving the energy transition.

Organizational details

The symposium will take place at St.-Vinzenz-Haus, a charming former convent in Munich/Germany. It is located in the inner-city premises of the University Hospital of LMU Munich and is surrounded by hotels of all categories, close to the Central Station and very well connected to public transport. The symposium is planned as a hybrid meeting. The Bavarian Medical Association will be requested to provide continuing education credits for the event. Information on registration, abstract submission and programme will follow soon.
