For my PhD, I am investigating the interplay between neutrophil and platelets, focusing on platelet procoagulant activation (PA) in immune responses. Thereby I aim specifically to identify mechanisms causing heightened neutrophil recruitment in defective platelet PA and assess neutrophil re-programming through interactions with procoagulant platelets.
