Development Related Post-Graduate Course Scholarship (EPOS)
Official Notice! Please note that starting with the 2027 intake, EPOS scholarships will no longer be available for incoming PhD candidates! We encourage prospective applicants to explore alternative funding opportunities.
The PhD Program Coordination had secured a scholarship line on Development Related Post-Graduate Course Scholarship (EPOS), funded by the DAAD from 2025 to 2026. In order to be eligible, candidates had to fullfil certain criteria that differed from minimum requirements for the PhD program itself. The most important differing criterion was a minimum of 2 years of work experience with relevance to the field of International Heath.
Important to note: Application for the scholarship did not equal application for the PhD program. Candidates still needed to apply for the PhD program at the same time!
