Dermatopathology
Main Fields of Research
The main focus of our research concerns oncogenesis and the characterization of solid and lymphocytic cutaneous neoplasms with special emphasis on oncogenic pathogens. Current efforts are dedicated to the oncogenetic genesis of Merkel cell carcinoma, tumor cell-clonality in melanoma, pathogenesis of granular parakeratosis, morphogenesis of basaloid and trichoblastic neoplasms.
