How can you use question portals for your marketing?
Question portals usually work by allowing users to register and then ask questions that are on their mind. Private individuals mainly exchange information here, give each other tips and assistance or discuss topics. Question portals are very popular with Internet users.
Question portals on the Internet are a good way of attracting traffic to your own site and drawing attention to yourself. Question portals also play a decisive role in Google. Therefore, make use of your expertise and get actively involved in question portals and forums!
Recommended procedure
- Create an account in the portal. The largest German forums are wer-weiss-was.de or gutefrage.net
- search for thematically relevant and as yet unanswered or poorly answered questions to which you can provide an answer. Questions that have already been answered satisfactorily should be left out. It does not help your reputation if questions that have already been answered are answered again in order to make a name for yourself. There are enough questions where you can really help.
- Give a detailed answer that does not raise any more questions (posting only a brief reference and a link to your own page is counterproductive). Don't take days to reply, otherwise another user may beat you to it. In exceptional cases, a link to your own content is possible if it contains further, useful information. In principle, a link should only be included if it is absolutely necessary, as some communities are allergic to it. It should be clearly marked that this link leads to your own page because there is more information there (you can also link to KUMpass content if necessary). However, your own post should be submitted under the name to be marketed so that the user knows who provided the helpful information.
NOTE
If you intend to register with such channels, you must notify the Communications and Media staff unit in text form with a lead time of 1 month (see instructions/user information on handling social media from the Communications and Media staff unit - access to the link is only possible from the hospital network for employees)
What happens next?
There is a very high probability that the user who posted the question will visit the site. As a result, you will now be known to this particular user. On the other hand, this question will appear in search engines and later be read by many other users, so that you will also increase your level of awareness here. More people will then follow the link.
