Which certifications will be offered in the future?

The following certifications are currently being planned and developed:

  • z-P: Basic certification: Portal web editors --> Appearance type: Portal (P)
  • z-uP: Basic certification: Web editors for appearances under LMU Klinikum Portal --> Appearance types: Facilities (E) and internal appearances (iA)
  • z-aP: Basic certification: Web editors for appearances outside LMU Klinikum Portal --> Appearance type: external appearances (eA)

What can I expect from the training / certification

LMU Klinikum

  1. The start in the learning platform of the LMU Clinic begins with the above-mentioned online modules and a final quiz (total duration approx. 1 hour)

  2. After completing/passing the quiz, you can register in the learning platform for one of the face-to-face workshops offered in the following 2 weeks (duration approx. 2 hours). If you do not have time after completing the quiz in the following 2 weeks, you can simply repeat the quiz at a later date and will then be offered further dates in the following 2 weeks.

  3. After the face-to-face workshop, you will need to complete and submit a final assignment in the learning platform (takes approx. 1 hour)

  4. Due to the constantly changing requirements for your web presence as a result of a rapidly changing Internet, we are also constantly developing our WebContentManagement SCRIVITO. For this reason, we have also decided to offer certification instead of training, i.e. you must register for re-certification in the learning platform every two years (duration approx. 1.5 hours)

  5. After the first certification, you can register in the learning platform in the Scrivito User Community and learn together and from each other with all trained web editors. The "Ask Scrivito" webinar is also held there every week and "Inspect your Website" and "Discuss Scrivito" are offered monthly (on request).

Where are the certifications offered?

Both the online modules and the face-to-face modules are offered and managed using the LMU Klinikum learning platform (Totara). Here you will find all online training modules and learning materials, as well as detailed information on the virtual and face-to-face training rooms.

As long as the corona pandemic does not allow face-to-face seminars, these will be offered virtually (with the help of WebEx) as web seminars (webinars).

Possible training "locations":

  • Online (independent of time) from any workstation on the Internet
  • On-site appointments in the training rooms
  • virtual appointments in the WebEx sessions

Due to the extremely fast-changing "Internet", websites and the requirements placed on them are also changing extremely rapidly. For this reason, the Scrivito authoring system is also constantly changing. This is why in future there will not only be training courses, but also certifications. These must be re-certified every two years so that all web editors at the LMU Clinic are aware of the latest changes over the last two years and can incorporate the latest developments into the clinic's websites to improve quality.
