Registration process in detail
1 - Necessary preparations in the IT portal
To be certified as a web editor in Scrivito, you must log in to the LMU Klinikum IT portal and do the following:
- Log in with your Helios ID and password (internal password from the intranet)
- Activate Scrivito access (Scrivito web editor role)
- Reset your external password (if you do not know it, simply change it)
- After approx. 4 hours you can then register for Scrivito training / certification in Totara
If you have any questions about the IT portal or are unable to complete steps 1-3, please contact your IT representative or our support team.
2, 3, 4 - Learning platform
2 - Request authorization for Scrivito (and new website if necessary) in the learning platform (Toatara)
You will find the Scrivito portal in the learning platform. There you can apply for a new website and write authorization for a website. To do this, use the Scrivito Assistant.
Registration for a Scrivito certification/training course is linked to the application for authorization for a new or existing website. This is done using the Scrivito Assistant. It guides you through a few steps and asks you to which website you should be added as an editor. The assistant also recognizes whether you already have a certification or not. If you do not yet have a certification, the learning platform will automatically assign you to the relevant certification.
3 - E-learning in the learning platform (Totara)
The start in the learning platform of the LMU-Klinikum Totara begins with online modules / e-learning and a final quiz (total duration approx. 1 hour).
4 - Registration for face-to-face workshop
If you do not have time after completing the quiz in the following 2 weeks, you can simply repeat the quiz at a later date and will then be offered further dates in the following 2 weeks.
5 & 6 - Scrivito
5 - Final task
After the face-to-face workshop, you will have to complete a final assignment in Scrivito and submit it (duration approx. 1 hour).
6 - Write authorization in Scrivito for own web presence
Once you have passed the final task, you will receive authorization to write for Scrivito and can edit your website.
