Landing page
General information
A landing page can be regarded as a specific, simple website that is detached from the actual website structure and usually also from the domain.
The difference between a normal website and a landing page is that although a landing page is used as a marketing tool, it may only be used for a limited period of time as part of a campaign at the hospital. For this reason, they are not optimized for specific keywords, but to generate sales (registrations for ..., registrations for ..., contact for ..., etc.).
The page is currently created outside the hospital's WCMS and must/can be created by the facilities themselves. This requires advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Our support team will set up the page on the hospital's servers for you and we will only check it:
- Functionality (if the landing page cannot be called up without errors, it will be sent back)
- Presence of the hospital logo incl. link to the hospital's Internet portal page
- Duration of visibility of the landing page (maximum 9 months for the period of the planned campaign)
- Footer: Link to the hospital's portal page | Link to the hospital institution operating the landing page.
Benefits
A particularly important feature of landing pages is the call for user interaction. Functions are built in so that the user can communicate with the landing page, e.g. in the form of a contact form or a 'Make an appointment now' button. All content, structure and appearance are aimed at achieving user interaction on the landing page.
structure
The page should be clearly structured and present the information in a simple way. In terms of content, the landing page is either optimized for the advertising message or specifically geared towards certain keywords, which can be based on campaigns. Important keywords are placed in the content and especially in headings. In this way, customers recognize what it is about and search engines receive semantic signals.
Depending on the target definition, contact forms or buttons are integrated. Links or navigation, on the other hand, are not integrated as they lead the user away from the offer. Each landing page focuses exclusively on what it is intended to achieve.
