Which WCMS training courses were offered for the "KUM-Qualified Web Editor"?
The basic training course teaches the absolute basics for setting up websites at the LMU Klinikum with the CMS-Fiona content management system. The training has a high practical component.
Prerequisite
The training participants should not have any experience with the WCMS Fiona of the LMU Klinikum or should not have been entrusted with the topic for a long time.
Participation in a basic training course is the basic prerequisite for being allowed to work in the WCMS Fiona
.after attending the basic training course, there used to be other types of training, but these have been suspended for the time being, as we are realigning the "Fully Qualified KUM Web Editor" concept to a blended learning approach with the e-learning management system Totara
Course content
This training type includes the following module:
- Introduction to the Web Content Management System (WCMS)
- Introduction to the Web Style Guide
- The path to the website, operation of the authoring interface
- Templates: Standard folder, direct link, navigation image link container/navigation image link, person container/person group/person
- Final work for release/publication
Number of participants
The number of participants in the B01 training course is limited to 6!
When registering, log in to the Totara training system with your Helios user name and your external password. Then click on the "Continue to event" button next to the desired seminar date. Then click on the green "Register" button on the right-hand side.

These types of training are currently no longer offered, as we are designing new training courses as part of the system changeover to SCRIVITO!
These training courses were used to teach advanced working techniques for setting up websites at the hospital. The training courses included a high practical component.

How long will the previous WCMS training courses still take place?
After the WCMS service of the hospital for the intranet still needs to be maintained and supported for some time (only for the intranet sites), we continue to offer the introductory training course "Basic training" Fiona training.
We are suspending the remaining WCMS training courses as we are converting the remaining courses to the new blended learning approach with the Totara e-learning platform as part of the redesign of our training courses.
Where is the basic WCMS training offered?
The basic WCMS training course takes place either online (conducted via webinar) or in the classroom.
When will the basic WCMS training courses take place?
To register, please log in to the Totara learning platformof the LMU Clinic with your Helios user name and your external password. Then click on the button "Continue to event" next to the desired seminar date. There you have to click on the green button "Register" on the right side.
Why should I still attend the previous basic WCMS training courses?
The INTRANET web editors will need the basic training until the websites are moved. The other types of training will certainly be offered again in the new format in the future (blended learning, Totara e-learning platform).
How can I get information on the remaining previous Fiona training courses?
Note
Even though the training concept is currently being revised and only the basic training is offered, we recommend that you study the various handouts/websites (see below) yourself so that you can create or operate the best possible websites for the LMU Klinikum and keep them up to date.
